Abstract | El fet que Segle XX arribi al seu desè aniversari ens ha fet decidir, per primera
vegada, combinar en la secció Debats i Diàlegs dues contribucions que estimem
són de gran vàlua per l’objectiu de la mateixa secció. Per ... El fet que Segle XX arribi al seu desè aniversari ens ha fet decidir, per primera vegada, combinar en la secció Debats i Diàlegs dues contribucions que estimem són de gran vàlua per l’objectiu de la mateixa secció. Per una banda, un debat que parteix de la lectura crítica d’una recent contribució a la historiografia espanyola i, per l’altra banda, un traducció i el diàleg entre els autors d’una obra de referència per la historiografia contemporània espanyola. La primera part es dedica a un debat, com hem dit, protagonitzat per Carlos Barciela i per Lino Camprubí, al voltant de les visions sobre economia, política i ciència en el Franquisme, Es fa a partir de la lectura crítica que proposa Barciela de Los ingenieros de Franco. Ciencia, catolicismo y Guerra Fría en el Estado franquista (2017), la recent contribució fet per Camprubí. Hem de d’agrair que els dos autors hagin acceptat aquest debat, així com el to i la forma de fer-ho a partir de dues posicions ben distintes, de fet marcadament confrontades. La importància del tema i les seves respectives interpretacions, sens dubte ens ajuden a avançar en el coneixement d’una qüestió cabdal en l’evolució de la societat espanyola durant el segle XX i també més enllà d’aquesta cronologia. |
