la comunicación ... En la actualidad, una de las principales tendencias en comunicación de marketing es la coordinación de las diferentes disciplinas de comunicación a través de un enfoque sinérgico. La teoría emergente de la comunicación de marketing integrada (CMI) se centra en una comunicación planificada estratégicamente y orientada al cliente/consumidor capaz de desarrollar retornos positivos, crear valor y una ventaja competitiva en la organización. Este estudio pretende llevar a cabo una revisión de las principales contribuciones teóricas y evidencias empíricas de la CMI, así como especificar las características que distinguen las comunicaciones tradicionales de las integradas. Asimismo, se clasifica distintas líneas de investigación que subyacen del paradigma de la CMI. At present, one of the main trends in marketing communications is the coordination of the different communication disciplines through a synergistic appoach. The emergent theory of integrated marketing communications (IMC) focus on a strategically planned and customer/consumer-oriented communication able to develop a positive return, create value and a competitive advantage for the organisation. This study aims to achieve a review of the main theoretical contributions and empirical evidencies of IMC, as well as specifing the characteristics that distinguish traditional from integrated communications. It also classifies distinct research lines that underlie IMC paradigm. |
