El tratamiento de las noticias sobre desahucios en España entre 2008 y 2017

Abstract

En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado analizamos el tratamiento periodístico dado al tema de los desahucios en España en el periodo compr endido entre 2008 y 2017 en tres diarios digitales nacionales: elpais.com , abc.es y elmundo.com . Tras una búsqueda por las hemerotecas de estos tres diarios hemos estudiado las informaciones aparecidas en tres momentos concretos: 2008, por ser el del inici o de la crisis económica; 2013, porque durante este año se produjeron numerosas protestas ciudadanas y la aprobación del proyecto de ley antidesahucios del Partido Popular; y por último, el año 2017 durante el cual se ha producido una cierta recuperación e conómica que se ha traducido en un descenso significativo en el número de desahucios. A pesar de las diferentes líneas ideológicas, los tres periódicos resaltan los mismos problemas , aunque dedican diferentes extensiones a las informaciones sobre desahucio s y, en algunos casos, se centran más en unos asuntos que en otros . No obstante, s on l os temas relacionados con la confrontación, el conflicto y los movimientos antidesahucios los predominantes. El papel del Gobierno en este tema ha sido destacado principa lmente en ABC , mientras que El País , por ejemplo, se ha centrado más en la cuestión social, como también El Mundo , aunque en menor medida , que se ha centrado más en mostrar cifras y datos estadísticos para comprender el problema

In this End of Degree Work we analyze the journalistic treatment given to the issue of evictions in Spain in the period b etween 2008 and 2017 in three national digital newspapers: elpais.com, abc.es and elmundo.com. After a search through the newspaper archives of these three newspapers, we studied the information that appeared at three specific moments: 2008, because it was the beginning of the economic crisis; 2013, because during this year there were numerous citizen protests and the approval of the Anti - Suicide Bill of the Popular Party; and finally, the year 2017 during which there has been a certain economic recovery th at has resulted in a significant decrease in the number of evictions. Despite the different ideological lines, the three newspapers highlight the same problems, although they devote different extensions to information on evictions and, in some cases, focus more on some issues than on others. However, it is the issues related to the confrontation, the conflict and the antidesavio movements that are predominant. The role of the Government in this issue has been highlighted mainly in ABC, while El País, for ex ample, has focused more on the social issue, as has El Mundo, although to a lesser extent, which has focused more on showing figures and statistical data to understand the problem.
