Introducción:El Instituto Nacional de Salud e Higiene en el Trabajo (INSHT) publicó en 2016 el Documento Técnico de Medicamentos Peligrosos en el que presenta, basándose en la lista publicada por la NIOSH, la relación de los fármacos considerados peligrosos de uso en España, incluyendo además recomendaciones de manipulación y preparación. Objetivos: Análisis y formulación de propuestas de medidas como repercusión de la implantación del Documento Técnico de Medicamentos Peligrosos publicado por el INSHT en el Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena. Metodología: Estudio observacional unicéntrico, prospectivo,llevado a cabo en el HUVM de Sevilla durante 4 meses. Se realizó un cribado de los medicamentos incluidos en el Documento Técnico del INSHT y el maestro de artículos del sistema informático del Hospital. Se procedió al análisis de dicho documento siguiendo la estructura y las recomendaciones propuestas en la Monografía nº6 de Farmacia Hospitalaria y Atención Primaria sobre Medicamentos Peligrosos, contrastando la situación real del Hospital con la propuesta en los documentos y planteando una estrategia para la difusión de los cambios en los procedimientos. Resultados:El Hospital administra 137 fármacos considerados peligrosos, de los cuales 85 pertenecen al grupo 1, 25 al grupo 2 y 27 al grupo 3. Actualmente, el grupo 1 se manipula correctamente por lo que solo se proponen medidas en el almacenamiento y en la recepción, mientras que para el grupo 2 y 3 no se sigue ningún tipo de recomendación por lo que es necesario tomar medidas en cada una de las etapas del circuito seguro del medicamento. Conclusión:Es necesario implementar adaptaciones en todo el circuito del medicamento, fundamentalmente en almacenamiento y preparación de los grupos 2 y 3, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones del Servicio de Farmacia del Hospital, con el fin último de disminuir el riesgo de exposición del personal manipulador a los Medicamentos Peligrosos. |
