Hibridación, cursividad y burocracia en Castilla en el siglo XVI

Abstract

The main objective of this paper is to analyse, from a synchronic and diachronic perspective, the gradual process of hybridization that handwriting experienced along the xvith century in Castile, and to outline how the new humanistic models retained for an extended period of time some elements of cursive Gothic tradition, especially those that favoured the acceleration of writing, which would continue to surface as writings became more cursive.
