Los problemas de la mirada en la creación artística: la imagen de la mujer árabe.

Abstract

Es fundamental para la realización artística de un conjunto de obras sobre una misma temática, el conocimiento de la misma desde otros puntos de vista, además del artístico. Para la elaboración de la exposición: El día bajo el viento y la noche sobre los espejos en torno a la mujer musulmana en occidente, se han recurrido a diversas fuentes. Por una parte al imaginario artístico occidental de los siglos XIX y XX. Por otra parte al conocimiento que sobre el tema aportan disciplinas como el derecho civil en distintos países musulmanes, el derecho religioso, la literatura, la tradición... El imaginario occidental sobre la mujer árabe ha respondido y responde no sólo a distintos ideales sobre un colectivo de mujeres, sino que la imagen de la mujer se ha hecho portadora por los mensajes de opinión occidental sobre el mundo árabe y en general sobre el mundo musulmán.

One side, the artistic imaginarium of XIX and XX centuries. Other side the knowledge about this subject that adduce another disciplines like civil right in mussulman countries, the religious right, literature, tradition... The occidental imaginarium for arabian woman has responded and respond nor only to different ideas about women's collective, but that the woman's image have been carrier of the messages of occidental opinion about arabian world or musulman world.
