El nuevo paraíso de finales del siglo XX .

Abstract

In this essay, I have tried to study the appearance ofthe international communication net (Internet), and the exponential development of its technology, which will permit man to create his own and new paradise in the new millennium. At the end of this millennium, the theories that affirm the end of the world proliferate. In view of this possibility, the opportunity of creating a new and a custom made world appears as a great expectation for a great many people, while others see it as something negative and full of dangerous disadvantages. The development of my essay counts on exposition of various aspects connected with this other reality creation, suspension of meaning of physical reality, and the role that artistic "s creation plays inside of this new world. Following the exposition of different attitudes and theories, I intend to elaborate and critique some of the emerging attitudes, predictions and theories, always treating them as hypothesis. Since we find ourselves at the very beginning ofthis development, this is the moment to examine these ideas and make some suppositions without the obligation of drawing definitive conclusions.

En esta comunicación, se ha querido abordar el tema de la aparición de la red de comunicación internacional, y el desarrollo a una velocidad cada vez rnás rápida de las tecnologías, como medio que tiene el hombre de este fin de milenio de crear su propio y nuevo paraíso, Al final del milenio, proliferan las teorías que aseguran que el final del mundo está próximo; ante tales expectativas, la posibilidad de darlugara un nuevo mundo a la medida de cada uno, aparece como una gran esperanza para muchos, mientras que otros 10 ven como algo no tan positi vo, y sí Ileno de grandes inconvenientes. El desarrollo del tema contará con una exposición de diferentes aspectos conectados con la creación de esta sub-realidad, en el sentido de suspensión de 10 real, y del papel quejuega la creación artística dentro de este nuevo mundo. Tras la exposición de diferentes posturas y teorías, se tomará partido por algunas de las mismas. Estas serán siempre consideradas como hipótesis, ya que al estar al comienzo del desarrollo de estas nuevas posibilidades, quizá sea el momento de lanzar conjeturas sin la necesidad de que sean concluyentes.
