sanitarias. | es |
dc.description.abstract | Today, the surprising genetic homolgy,
which brings man close to the higher
anthropoid apes, is a generally accepted
public opinion. Notwithstanding, the
physical and cultural differences, as well
as, especially, the lack of language,
allow that this fact is rejected by the
humans and that they would not react
accordingly to it, protecting themselves
beyond a wall of the human singularity.
The primatologists have demonstrated
the existence of a culture between the
apes, underlining the decisive
importance of cognition in order to
realize interactions considered until this
moment as based on the instincts. The
present article tries to emphasize the
existence of sacrificial practices
between the gorillas and -with respect
to the chimpances- of the distribution
of the obtained meat amongst the
hunters. These practices confront us,
in the first case, with the rudiments of
the sacred -because of the sacrifice-,
and, in the second case, the origin of
moral standards in relation with the
distribution of food, a typical habit and
«more» of the humans. Today’s resistance
with respect to the deconstruction
of the wall of human singularity, seen
as the contemporary man’s defence, is
similar to those that offered the theologists during the period of the discovery
of America, when they denied the
existence of the soul to the natives and,
consequently, their status as men and
subjects of right. Whenever the purpose
of that non-acceptance was the
exploitation of human manpower under
the condition of bondage, today’s
version aims at the pillage, untill to
death, of the bodies of the apes in
accordance with the experimental
interests of the pharmacological and
health-industries. | es |
