Abstract | En este artículo se aborda la relación entre educación, discurso y pensamiento desde una perspectiva sociocultural, partiendo de las posibilidades que ofrecen las formas de discurso de carácter abstracto que privilegia la ... En este artículo se aborda la relación entre educación, discurso y pensamiento desde una perspectiva sociocultural, partiendo de las posibilidades que ofrecen las formas de discurso de carácter abstracto que privilegia la escuela, pero incorporando algunas reflexiones críticas originales desde los estudios de género, en favor de aquellos otros modos discursivos que se apoyan en la experiencia práctica y cotidiana. Para ello, se analiza el discurso de mujeres y hombres de distintos niveles educativos que participaron en grupos de discusión homogéneos y heterogéneos. A raíz de los resultados, se cuestiona la preponderancia del pensamiento abstracto en la escuela y la idea de considerar que existen diferencias esenciales entre mujeres y hombres en sus formas de hablar y pensar. Finalmente, se aportan algunas implicaciones que pueden tener el uso de unos modos u otros de discurso y las posbilidades que éstos ofrecen, entre otras cosas, para el cambio de pensamiento. |
