The reason for this article is to introduce some rock carvings found on Cerro del Riscal, a rocky shale outcrop nearby the small village of El Madroño, in the Northwest of the province of Sevilla. The interest on these carvings rest on their newness as they are the first ones of the type traced in the province, so they enlighten the polemics about the Peninsular Southwest, opening new perspectives to the search and study of other locations. On a preliminary aproach, they date from the Middle Bronze Age |
