In this paper the interest of desalination systems coupled with certain productive activities that could be useful to provide sustainable development in remote locations or developing country is analyzed. To that end they have searched the literature options to use effluent normally not later usefulness, or even present an environmental problem. Has identified a case of special interest, the concept has been proposed in the literature for the specific case of brackish water wells, giving utility to concentrate desalination processes for culturing microorganisms. And wastewater from livestock activities. There has been a literature search to select microalgae cultures or other microorganisms of interest. It has chosen a suitable location. Based on the study of the favorable conditions in which algae and cultivation of selected species occur, we have chosen the site, which in turn is a place in developing that you will want to provide sufficient means to to be self-sufficient and even generate a surplus for trade. We analyzed a number of assumptions practical cases where the operation of the reverse osmosis plant in question was simulated to estimate energy consumption that would face the region in order to assess whether it was a viable option or not, and the region for which the work has been done does not have the energy resources are there in the first world |
