Abstract | Existen diversos factores que predicen un óptimo rendimiento académico, el objetivo que se persigue con esta investigación es estudiar cómo el rendimiento académico se relaciona con los hábitos de estudio y con la inteligencia. ... Existen diversos factores que predicen un óptimo rendimiento académico, el objetivo que se persigue con esta investigación es estudiar cómo el rendimiento académico se relaciona con los hábitos de estudio y con la inteligencia. Además, se trata de demostrar que el simple hecho de poseer una alta inteligencia no da lugar al éxito académico, sino que hay otros factores como: el lugar de estudio, la influencia de los iguales, el uso de las tecnologías, el plan de estudio y las actividades fuera del aula, las cuales también repercuten en el resultado del rendimiento y la consecuente obtención de mejores o peores calificaciones. Para esto, se ha utilizado una muestra de 45 estudiantes de 4º de la E.S.O de edades comprendidas entre los 15 y 17 años. Se les administró un cuestionario de elaboración propia para conocer los hábitos de estudio y una batería de aptitudes diferenciales y generales “BadyG”, que evalúa la capacidad intelectual de los niños/as en edad escolar.Los resultados obtenidos tras los estudios estadísticos correspondientes indican que la inteligencia, y concretamente el tener un cociente intelectual alto, sí está relacionado con un buen rendimiento académico. Pero que además, poseer buenos hábitos de estudio también influye en los estudiantes de esta muestra, concretamente la influencia del grupo de iguales, las actividades que realizan fuera del aula y el uso de las tecnologías en el estudio. |
