En este trabajo se presentan avances de investigación sobre las acciones comunicativas que llevan a cabo organizaciones civiles sobre el VIH y las mujeres en México. El punto de partida fue la importancia pública que actualmente está tomando la situación de las mujeres en la epidemia en razón del aumento paulatino de casos, así como la presencia que desde el principio de la epidemia han tenido las organizaciones civiles, la presencia de éstas en su versión feminista o de mujeres y la evidente actuación que han tenido en términos políticos, sociales, culturales y comunicativos. El objetivo hacer un primer acercamiento a sus acciones comunicativas en términos pragmáticos desde su contexto local y global de producción. Para ello localizamos productos comunicativos de las organizaciones (folletos, videos, programas de radio, memorias, blogs, etc.) e hicimos una selección de los mismos para analizarlos en términos de la práctica comunicativa que llevan a cabo las organizaciones civiles. Presentamos un ejemplo de dicho análisis y concluimos, por el momento, que las organizaciones tienen una representación homogénea de las mujeres en términos de victimización que experimentan de parejas e instituciones. La organización llama a la acción pero no reconoce capacidades ni acciones cotidianas de las mujeres. |
