Mnemotécnicas. Sobre la relación entre técnica y memoria

Abstract

El presente trabajo se propone describir el efecto de las recientes transformaciones técnicas sobre la constitución del sujeto contemporáneo. Para ello se emprende un análisis de la actual relación entre técnica y memoria, o más precisamente, entre la memoria técnica y la memoria humana. A través de un recorrido que transita por la obra de autores como Stiegler, Simondon o Benjamin, se intentará mostrar el carácter ambivalente de los nuevos soportes técnicos de memoria, que suponen a la vez el problema y parte de la solución.

This paper aims to describe the effect of the recent technical changes on the constitution of the contemporary subject. In order to do this, we will undertake an analysis of the current relationship between technology and memory, or more precisely, between technical memory and human memory. By means of an itinerary through the work of authors such as Stiegler, Simondon or Benjamin, we will try to show the ambivalent nature of the new technical supports of memory, involving both the problem and part of the solution.
