Abstract

La poesía final de Vicente Aleixandre, centrada en los dos últimos libros que conoció en vida, Poemas de la consumación y Diálogos del conocimiento, pero completada con la sección «Poemas metafísicos» de Nuevos poemas varios y En gran noche, supone no solo la culminación de la trayectoria poética de nuestro Premio Nobel, sino también de la poesía en lengua española en el siglo XX. «Sombría iluminación» de la vida humana, responde a una cosmovisión que ha ido matizándose y enriqueciéndose a lo largo de muchas décadas, y que ahora integra una poesía de comunicación y de conocimiento, de belleza y de compromiso con lo esencial humano, a través de depurados procedimientos estilísticos. Vicente Aleixandre anticipa aquí las claves de la escritura transmoderna.
