Es indudable el valor que éstas tienen hoy, y de la incidencia en nuestra cotidianeidad. De los significados que les atribuimos y la forma en que permean nuestro día a día. Brands help us to project meaning, and they participate in the construction of ourselves. The value that brands have today, and their incidence in our routine, is doubtless, as well as the meanings we attribute to them and the form in which they appear in our day to day. Brands stopped being exclusively distinguishers of products or mere markers long ago. For this reason, at present other many functions are granted to them that the mere designation of a product. The brand, to say it some way, “becomes independent from the product”. It will be the one to confer values to products because it has the capacity to construct an universe of its own, loaded of meaning. The product is merely bought and consumed; the mark is lived and experienced. |
