Abstract | En el presente artículo exponemos una parte los resultados de una investigación, financiada por el ICE de la Universidad de Sevilla, que tenía por objeto diagnosticar las necesidades de los docentes de la Hispalense respecto ... En el presente artículo exponemos una parte los resultados de una investigación, financiada por el ICE de la Universidad de Sevilla, que tenía por objeto diagnosticar las necesidades de los docentes de la Hispalense respecto a las metodologías de enseñanza a desarrollar en el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior. Utilizando procedimientos de investigación cualitativo-colaborativos y encuestas, aplicados a una amplia muestra del profesorado de las 5 áreas de conocimiento de la universidad, así como a directores de departamento y de responsables de los centros, se han detectado necesidades de formación con un alto nivel de detalle en los cuatro ámbitos de la actuación docente: planificación y desarrollo de la docencia, evaluación y tutoría de los aprendizajes. En base a esas necesidades percibidas se ha confeccionado una propuesta de mejora para la oferta formativa del ICE. This paper presents some findings of a research study conducted in the University of Seville on teachers’ needs for teaching in European Higher Education Area (EHEA) context. Qualitative inquiring (focus groups) and survey procedures have been applied to several groups of teachers in every university scientific area; heads of department and deans have been consulted as well. Aimed to establish teaching needs, data analysis of present research has poured a big amount of specific topics referring to main teaching functions: planning and applying teaching, and conducting assessment and tutoring. Supported on these findings, an improvement plan has been worked out. |
