Innovaciones en la radio temática musical en internet. Análisis de Canal Flamenco Radio

Abstract

La distribución del medio radiofónico a través de Internet está permitiendo desarrollar nuevas propuestas en la oferta actual de contenidos musicales. Tecnológicamente no hay ya limitación del espectro radioeléctrico por lo que cualquier género o grupo musical tiene cabida en la Red. Además el alcance universal de la radio online ha consolidado definitivamente la fragmentación de las audiencias. Este fenómeno se ha visto reforzado con el efecto de la llegada de las redes sociales en Internet que han creado un nuevo perfil de oyente o usuario que dispone de herramientas que le permiten un mayor grado de elección y participación en la programación. En este contexto la Radio Televisión Pública de Andalucía ha creado la primera emisora de radio en Internet dedicada exclusivamente al flamenco, género musical y manifestación cultural originaria de esta comunidad. La radio fórmula musical y la programación musical unen sus elementos en las emisoras temáticas. El objeto de esta comunicación es analizar el tratamiento de esta emisora temática especializada comparándola con otras experiencias radiofónicas musicales. FlamencoRadio.com responde a la concepción actual del medio radiofónico con presencia en diversos soportes, televisión digital terrestre e Internet, y con servicios de suscripción a programas fuera de su horario de emisión vía Podcasting. Una de las claves del éxito de esta experiencia está siendo el alcance global de la emisora accesible en cualquier rincón del mundo permitiendo difundir el flamenco como nunca se había hecho hasta el momento.

Internet distribution of radio is allowed to develop new proposals in the context of current music content. There is no technical limit of the radio spectrum. Any genre or music band has place hole on Internet. Besides, the global reach of radio online has definitely established the fragmentation of audiences.This phenomenon has been strengthened with the effects of social networks. Internet has created a new listener or user profile with that provides tools that allow a greater degree of choice and participation. In this context, Radio and Television of Andalusia has created the first Internet radio station dedicated exclusively to flamenco, musical genre and cultural event which it is originated in this spanish region. Musical formula radio and music programming join elements in thematic radio stations. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the treatment of Flamenco Radio compared to other thematic music radio stations. FlamencoRadio.com answered the current conception of the radio with presence in various media, digital terrestrial television and the Internet, subscription services and programs outside their broadcast schedule via Podcasting. One of the keys to the success of this experience is being the global reach of the station accessible anywhere in every part of the world by supporting flamenco has never been done.
