Abstract | Esta investigación tiene por finalidad conocer cómo fueron retratados los
conquistadores por los naturales de Centroamérica durante la Conquista. Queremos conocer cual era el concepto que tenían sobre ellos, y cómo los ... Esta investigación tiene por finalidad conocer cómo fueron retratados los conquistadores por los naturales de Centroamérica durante la Conquista. Queremos conocer cual era el concepto que tenían sobre ellos, y cómo los representaban a través de sus imágenes. Para ello hemos realizado una historiografía, centrándonos en las culturas precolombinas mayas y azteca, elaborando un marco teórico que nos deje encuadrar tales sucesos para llegar a entender, aún más, cómo se forjo esta visión. Asimismo analizaremos varios fragmentos de diversas obras, describiendo lo que en ellas aparece y su contexto. Posteriormente, he realizado una recopilación de lo extraído de todos los documentos, organizándolos en varios conceptos relacionados con el imaginario, para llegar, así, a una conclusión mucho más definida. Mediante las diferentes referencias bibliográficas elaboraremos una aproximación histórica a estas culturas, hablando previamente de cómo se fundamenta el imaginario cultural de las imágenes y para terminar, conoceremos sobre cómo es su “pintura”, si es que se le puede llamar así, en los códices, lienzos y manuscritos, las principales fuentes en este proyecto. Para el análisis de los documentos, haremos una conceptualización, a priori, de los mismos, pasando a realizar una descripción de los fragmentos seleccionados, y en ellos, reencuadraremos la mirada hacia los objetos que este estudio atañe. |
