Unmannedaerialvehicleshaveundergone significant advancements over the years owing to their utility in diverse fields, including but not limited to surveillance, home delivery, infrastructure inspection or the film industry. This project is based on the concept of an autonomous aerial vehicle equipped with multiple cameras for target tracking and monitoring applications. These cameras can be reoriented at will and have the ability to adjust the zoom as needed to focus on the targets. Building upon this concept, two goals are pursued with this project: • Expansion of the concept to a squad of vehicles: To develop a system in which multiple agents can work together in a coordinated manner to monitor several groups of targets simultaneously. This approach aims to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the monitoring task. • Visual simulation in Unreal Engine 5: Implement and test the proposed system by means of a visual simulation using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 5 graphics engine. This tool will allow the target tracking mission to be visualized in a more realistic environment. |
