Este escrito forma parte de la investigación realizada para la tesis de doctorado, (Valoración de los proyectos de geometría, en la generación, permanencia y adaptabilidad de algunas tramas urbanas en forma de ensanche: El caso de la colonia San Miguel Chapultepec en la ciudad de México, dirigida por Miquel Domingo Clota y presentada en el año 2006 en la Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona, Departamento de Urbanismo y Ordenación del Territorio) en donde se busca mostrar el crecimiento de la ciudad de México en las últimas décadas del siglo XIX y principios del XX en base a la fuerza del trazado inicial de sus principales vialidades que partían del núcleo antiguo hacia nuevas poblaciones de los alrededores. Así mismo, se presentan aspectos tanto físicos como sociales que ilustran las acciones implicadas en esta transformación del territorio, así como de los resultados plasmados en los distintos planos de las distintas épocas de desarrollo. Recalcando que las vialidades son el elemento que da sentido al resto de estructuras implantadas en ellas y es el principal objeto a estudiar en cualquier análisis morfológico de un tejido consolidado y en la definición de nuevas formas edificatorias. This paper is part of the research for the dissertation, where it seeks to show the Mexico citi’s growth in the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, based on the strength of the initial layout of the main roads that ran from the old town to new towns in the surroundings. Likewise, it is shown both physical and social aspects that illustrate the actions involved in this transformation of the territory are presented, and the results reflected in the different levels of the different periods of development. Emphasizing that the roads are the main element that gives meaning to the rest of the implanted structures, and that is the main object of study in any morphological analysis of a consolidated fabric and in the definition of new building proposals. |
