En el presente estudio se dan a conocer numerosos datos biográficos pertenecientes a la familia Palomino, la cual durante tres siglos y varias generaciones de artistas plateros proporcionó a la ciudad de Sevilla y su provincia un copioso número de piezas argénteas. Además de aportar estas noticias inéditas resolvemos grandes dudas acerca de su árbol genealógico, dando a conocer algunos plateros inéditos y exponiendo ciertas hipótesis sobre sus parentescos, no sin antes atribuir algún que otro punzón de platero perteneciente a esta familia.
