Atype of power converters exists based on the concept of modularity. Atype of power converters exists based on the concept of modularity. These are distributed converters in which their phase controllers must communicate with a central controller. In order to do that, a solution to communicate the different modules is necessary. However, the typical communications for these converters use protocols that are less efficient for these applications, because they usually suffer from high overhead, which means that the size of the header is much larger than the size of useful data. The solution that this work offers is the implementation of a simple efficient protocol that guarantees an effective fast transmission. In this project, we will design a protocol for addressing, a network based on switches in order to communicate the modules and the communication forms for the on-chip and off-chip parts of the network. The implementations will be verified in simulation and tested on a FPGA. |
