Importancia del juego en educación infantil

Abstract

El juego es un derecho universal y fundamental de los niños y niñas. A través de él, se potencian las distintas áreas, desarrollándose cognitiva, motriz, emocional y socialmente. Mediante el juego los niños no sólo se divierten, sino que trabajan numerosos aspectos de su vida; el autodescubrimiento, a comprender el mundo que les rodea, la seguridad en sí mismos, la creatividad y la imaginación. Con este trabajo de fin de grado hemos estudiado la evolución del juego tomando como punto de partida la manifestación de juego en los animales y comparándolo con cómo se manifiesta el juego en los seres humanos. Hemos analizado también las características del juego, los diferentes tipos existentes y la importancia de educar en igualdad, alejándonos de los estereotipos de género que dicta la sociedad. Por último, hemos hecho hincapié sobre cómo el juego funciona como una herramienta normalizadora en el alumnado con NEAE, los beneficios que genera y cómo podemos adaptar los juegos con las medidas necesarias en cada caso.

Play is a universal and fundamental right of children. Through it, the different areas are enhanced, developing cognitively, motor, emotionally and socially. Through play, children not only have fun, it also works on numerous aspects of their lives; self-discovery, understanding the world around them, self-confidence, creativity and imagination. With this end-of-degree project we have studied the evolution of play taking as a starting point the manifestation of play in animals and comparing it with how play manifests itself in humans. We have also analyzed the characteristics of the game, the different existing types and the importance of educating in equality, moving away from the gender stereotypes that society dictates. Finally, we have emphasized how the game works as a normalizing tool for students with SSEN, the benefits it generates and how we can adapt the games with the necessary measures in each case.
