As we are well aware, every four years Andalusians vote for the parliamentary group and consequently for the person we want to be the president of our AutonomousCommunity.Thisinvolves a voting process on the part of the citizens. With thiswork what we want is to make this voting system more homogeneous by applying a couple of mathematicalmodels of power indexes, in orderto facilitate and streamline the whole procedure. First, we propose two classical powerindexes, calculated via the generatrix functions. Secondly, we apply these power indicesto the Andalusian votingsystem and compare them with the current voting method in which not all votes are worth the same. As a result we see that the systems derived from thepower indices are more homogeneousthan the current one so that there is not so much difference between a rural and an urban vote. |
