Abstract | Objetivos: Conocer las urgencias atendidas durante el cierre de clínicas dentales en el
Estado de Alarma Covid-19, las medidas de prevención/protección frente al mismo en
las clínicas dentales y saber qué manifestaciones ... Objetivos: Conocer las urgencias atendidas durante el cierre de clínicas dentales en el Estado de Alarma Covid-19, las medidas de prevención/protección frente al mismo en las clínicas dentales y saber qué manifestaciones orales produce la Covid-19 para la posible detección de las mismas en la clínica. Material y Método: se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica en páginas oficiales y en la base de datos PubMed incluyendo aquellos artículos escritos en inglés y español, estudios realizados en humanos y limitado a los últimos 5 años con acceso al texto completo. Resultados y Conclusiones: Al principio se dió prioridad a la necesidad de tratamiento dental de emergencia/urgencia. En las nuevas directrices adoptadas para la prevención/protección se incluye el uso del triaje, uso de mascarillas N95 o FFP2 y pantalla facial, enjuagues preoperatorios con H2O2, Povidona Yodada, CLX y CPC, esterilización y desinfección exhaustivas y una ventilación del lugar de trabajo. Las manifestaciones orales son muy variadas pero por su frecuente aparición en los pacientes se destaca la alteración del gusto y la lengua Covid. Objectives: to know the emergencies attended during the closing of clinics in the Covid- 19 State of Alarm, the prevention/protection measures against it in dental clinic and to know what oral manifestations it produces and the possible detection of the same in the clinic. Method: a bibliographic review was carried out in official pages and in the PubMed database including those articles written in English and Spanish, studies carried out in humans, limited to the last 5 years with access to the full text. Results and Conclusions: Initially, priority had to be given to the need for emergency/urgent dental treatment. The new guidelines adopted for prevention/protection include the use of triage, use of N95 or FFP2 masks and face shield, preoperative rinses with H2O2, Povidone Iodine, CLX and CPC, exhaustive sterilization and disinfection and ventilation of the workplace. Oral manifestations are very varied but due to their frequent appearance in patients, taste alteration and Covid tongue are highlighted. |
