Creencia y certeza en Tomás de Aquino

Abstract

El presente trabajo acoge a la teoría del conocimiento tomista y busca en ella la esencia misma del conocimiento, cuestionándose cómo se da y cómo se puede llegar a una posición de auténtica certeza, así como de lo contrario, de creencia infundada e incuestionada. Para ello se repasarán los artículos fundamentales que giran en torno a la mente, bastión indiscutible para ver cómo conoce el ser humano, qué tipo de conocimiento alberga en su memoria y cómo conoce las realidades materiales o sensibles.

The present work embraces the Thomistic theory of knowledge and seeks in it the very essence of knowledge, questioning how it is given and how it is possible to arrive at a position of authentic certainty, as well as the opposite, of unfounded and unquestioned belief. To this end, the fundamental articles that revolve around the mind, the indisputable bastion for seeing how human beings know, what type of knowledge they store in their memory and how they know material or sensible realities.
