A mediados de 2018, varios medios de comunicación españoles publicaron una serie de grabaciones que incluían las conversaciones entre José Manuel Villarejo, excomisario del Cuerpo Nacional de Policía y Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, supuesta expareja de Juan Carlos I. En ellas, se relataba el cobro de unas comisiones millonarias de forma ilegal por parte del anterior monarca y la existencia de una serie de cuentas en Suiza donde guardaría tales sumas de dinero. La Justicia española y la helvética empezaron a investigar sobre las posibles actividades corruptas del emérito, a la vez que los medios de comunicación españoles e internacionales publicaban cada vez más noticias sobre supuestos fraudes del monarca. La gravedad de las informaciones hizo que el 15 de marzo de 2020, Felipe VI renunciara a la herencia de su padre y le retirara la asignación directa que recibía la Casa Real de los Presupuestos Generales del Estado y que el 3 de agosto de 2020, la institución anunciara que Juan Carlos I había decidido abandonar España. Las distintas formaciones políticas se han hecho eco de la trascendencia de las informaciones y de la preocupación ciudadana; la monarquía vuelve a destacar con fuerza en la agenda política. La politización de la monarquía traspasa la discusión sobre la corrupción del anterior rey y los partidos se posicionan desde la alabanza al sistema republicano a las críticas a otras formaciones por su posición antimonárquica. En este estudio, se pretende desde averiguar las estrategias de defensa o crítica hacia la Corona de cada partido político en Twitter hasta conocer el espacio que ha dedicado cada formación política a la institución en esta red social. Para ello, se emplea una metodología de análisis de contenido, con variables cuantitativas y cualitativas, que se aplica a una muestra de 139 tuits extraídos de las cuentas de Twitter de las cinco fuerzas políticas más votadas en España: Partido Socialista Obrero Español, Partido Popular, Vox, Unidas Podemos y Ciudadanos. Por último, se establece un margen temporal desde que Felipe VI se desvincula de las actividades de su padre hasta que Juan Carlos I abandona España. |
