In this project we are going to try to imagine the “perfect” museum with the newest elements of the museum. Particularly the phenomenon of the museum’s communication, with that in mind we’ve taken the Archaeological Museum of Sevilla where, with it’s history and understanding of the collection, establishes what crucial elements in museum theory are not present in that space and how to improve them. With this in mind, the modern idea of a museum needs to create a culture of communication, without being stuck in the past. Being unable to modernize the museum creates a stressful atmosphere where the guides and directions within the museum leave visitors confused and disoriented. Technology should help not distract, leaving us to observe the art, where signs provide information and not a maze of paragraphs and above all, where art shows us the joy of a visit to a museum. |
