dc.description.abstractIn this work we focus on the isoperimetric problem in R2 endowed with a piecewise constant density. We will see that the boundary of an isoperimetric solution is not a smooth curve in general, since some corners may appear according to a rule analogous to the Snell refraction law from Optics.es
