The knowledge society asks schools to form their students’ abilities regarding Technology of Information and Communication (ICT), as these will be necessary in the personal and labour future of the students. The knowledge society asks schools to form their students’ abilities regarding Technology of Information and Communication (ICT), as these will be necessary in the personal and labour future of the students. Educational robotics responds to this. The introduction of robotics in school is a great educational resource which can be used since preschool education. Through it, boys and girls will introduce themselves in collaborative work and in problem resolutions in an inclusive manner. To make sure there is no discrimination towards students with special needs in education, it is important to respect the functional diversity in the implementation of this tool, which has been found useful in their integration. Especially regarding children with ADHD, an improvement in their attention capacity, concentration and integration has been noticed, both inside and outside the classroom. Using this tool demands well formed teachers which modify their ways of teaching adapting them to the new requirements. Our educational proposal presents the realisation of educational and inclusive robotics in a second year of preschool classroom, in which we find students with special necessities, diagnosed with ADHD. |
