The test will be carried out thanks to two fretting bridges located on each side of the specimen. The project consists of the design of an assembly which is responsible for connecting the specimen to the jaws of a hydraulic machine. The program used to design each of the assembly elements is Solid Edge. Once each of the elements that make up the connection tool has been designed, an analysis will be carried out using finite elements through the ANSYS Workbench program for the complete set to study its behavior in the face of the cyclical loads carried out in the fretting test. Once the assembly that connects the machine jaws with the specimen has been designed and studied, its behavior will be analyzed in the laboratory of the mechanical engineering and manufacturing department of the E.T.S.I. The analysis of the physical behavior of both the specimen and the fretting bridges will be possible thanks to the implantation of a series of strain gages. This project will not include such analysis in the laboratory but will include a study on the bands that will be used. In addition to the hydraulic machine, an oven will be needed which is responsible for providing the temperature at which we want to carry out the test (around 650ºC). |
