These data losses are modelled as an independent sequence of i.i.d. Bernoulli random variable. This random variable is replaced by an additive noise plus a gain, which is equal to the successful transmission probability in the feedback loop. Also, structural uncertainties in the model of the plant are considered. To cope with this problem, a mixed H2/H∞ control technique is proposed in this work. In this way, the H2 approach is used to stabilize the NCS taking into account the probability of data dropouts, while the H∞ approach is in charge of making the closed-loop system robust enough against structural uncertainties of the nominal model. |
