The loss of importance of rural farms and the unwillingness to adapt to the weather, has generated a state of neglect in much of these infrastructures, leaving them obsolete and in ruins. This transformation has derived a landscape change, fading overtime, being visible to any living being that inhabits it. Dos Hermanas, Seville, is a great example of this. This research covers the study of agricultural exploitation at different scales, starting from the Andalusian, Sevillian and finally Nazarene agrarian importance (Dos Hermanas), where we will find an important point of reflection on the loss of agricultural architecture and the low capacity of adapt to time. After this, an in-depth investigation is carried out on the Hacienda Ibarburu, a historical heritage since 2002.Once understood in the historical-cultural context that we find ourselves, a study is carried out to assess and interpret the poor state in which it is found, based on scarce information, with a primary objective such as proposing new intervention strategies, which will take as references interventions from the field of art and architecture, which will serve as a focus point for a possible activation of the Hacienda Ibarburu, giving away the value that it has been losing over time. |
