The dimensioning of the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz) is presented affected by seasonality and by discharges from the wine industry in order to obtain a purification treatment that complies with the legal landfill requirements. For this purpose, two biological processes, activate sludge and prolonged aeration are studied, opting finally for the first one, which contemplates the operation of one or two process lines depending on the tributary flow. |
