Formación, investigación y tercer ciclo universitario

Abstract

La comunicación propone, por una parte, la exigencia de un estudio en profundidad de los modelos educativos empleados en el primer y segundo ciclo universitario, para cubrir con garantías las exigencias básicas que plantea el carácter de formación para la investigación del tercer ciclo. La investigación se desarrolla en un área de estudios avanzados, y muy marcado por la especificidad, porque los Departamentos deben garantizar las exigencias curriculares de los que aspiren a ella, y no en términos de mínimos exigibles. En segundo lugar llama la atención sobre el posible impacto que sobre la investigación universitaria puede Ilegar a tener la normalización del nuevo Real Decreto 778/ 1998 por el que se regula el 3er.ciclo de los estudios universitarios, y no solo porque suponga un cambio drástico con respecto a lo que se ha hecho hasta ahora. Si los departamentös universitarios no toman medidas internas, reglamentarias y funcionales, pueden Ilegar a ocurrir disfunciones peligrosas que, en la práctica, perviertan el espíritu de la ley. Por último, se plantea en este contexto, la propensión a identificar la investigación con la creación, considerándolo un menosprecio de la creación artística, en tanto que, ambos procesos, investigación y creación, aunque se relacionen y en muchos aspectos se hermanen, son distintos en acción y efecto.

The communication proposes, first of all, the demand of a profound study of the educational patterns employed in the first and second university cycles, in order to cover with guarantee the basic requeriments that the third cycle demands due to ist formative character for researching. The research takes place in an area of advanced studies which is highly noted of its specifity , therefore the Departements should guarantee the curricular demands from people who aspire to this and not in trerms of minium requirements. Secondly, iy draws the attention to the possible impact that the standardization ofthe new decret law 778/1998 can have into the university research. This new decree law regulates the third cycle of university studies and this decree means a drastic change in relation to all that has been done until now. If the university Departaments don't take any internal measures, according to the rules and functionals, dangerous dysfunstions might happen in the practice that can corrupt the spirit of the law. Last of all, the tendency to identfly research and creation is put into context, it is considered a contempt to the artistic creation, so, both processes, research and creation, although, they are well connected and in a lot of aspects they are related, they are different in action and in efect.
