An unexpected conscquence of thc play's sudden popularitv was the inílucncc it exertcd on the drainatic works of Spanish playwright Alfonso Paso This paper studies the way in uhich ll'ho's Afraicl of I irginia WoolJ?'s Spanish adaptation was received by theatre audicnces and critics. as wcll as its subscquent incidence on Paso's work
