The present work is an analysis of the aesthetic models shown in streetstyle blogs, those that publish fashion images portraying unknown people. The focus is on the important role they can play in building a more inclusive fashion that empowers models of beauty other than the well-established canon. This issue is addressed by studying the case of The Sartorialist, the most well-known streetstyle blog and the one that has enough influence to bring about a change in representation. The study consists mainly of the comparison between the subjects shown in this blog and the professional models from traditional media and advertising. It will begin by laying the foundations of the historical relationship between fashion and the street, and subsequently, through the case study, it will be demonstrated if there is really a diversification of the aesthetic models, thus expanding the concept of beauty while reducing distances with the public.
