This paper presents an approach of teaching and learning science for the topic of the chemical change in secondary education (9th grade) using analogies as organizer content. It wasn’t only a question of learning models to represent substances and of interpreting the chemical change but, it was also developing competencies related to the modeling in chemistry. Firstly, the structure and the approach foundations are presented so that a chronicle of his implementation with a sample of 15 students of this level can be shown secondly. The teacher diary and the student portfolio were used as instruments to get information. The analysis carried out allowed the possibility of verifying the useusefulness of the analogies as resource to achieve an effective learning of the chemical change, as in a theoretical level in relation to the modeling and to an appropriated knowledge on the nature of the models in chemistry. Dans ce travail on montre une proposition pour l’enseignement et l’apprentissage du changement chimique dans l’éducation secondaire obligatoire (3ème) en employant des analogies comme élément moteur. Il s’agissait non seulement d’apprendre les modèl...
