In this article, the main thesis of Krause’s anthropology and its harmonic idealism of the beginning of the 19th century are analysed. Krause, in search of the Being, and from introspection, gets to discover his body and his soul as an image of Nature and Spirit. He defines the properly human faculties: knowing, feeling and will, included in intimacy. And, from this, it opens to the other beings, especially to Humankind. His philosophy is a continuous search of the Self, as a rational conscience and of the spirits that form Nature, which has its own rights. Humankind allows us to reach the moral perfection of each individual in harmony, developing our abilities in relationship with the others: respect, equality, freedom and solidarity. And, to reach it, education from childhood is essential. His optimistic view of human future promises the triumph of the Good, Beauty, Truth and Justice. We are, definitely, social people.
