¿Es efectivo el podcasting/vodcasting?: Investigación-acción en el aula de música en educación secundaria

Abstract

Lo que se viene denominando web 2.0 y todas las herramientas, plataformas o tecnologías que la misma conlleva (blogs, wikis, podcasts, redes sociales, etc.) están siendo asumidas de forma natural y flexible por todo tipo de usuarios. Plataformas como Youtube, Wikipedia, Facebook, etc., nos dan una idea de este cambio y el podcasting forma parte de esta nueva manera de entender la web. El objetivo de este artículo es mostrar -a través de una metodología de investigación-acción en el aula- la efectividad del podcasting en la interpretación instrumental en alumnos de música de educación secundaria. Las conclusiones de dicho estudio aportan datos sobre la mejora interpretativa en los alumnos que se sometieron al entrenamiento con videopodcasts.

What is being called Web 2.0 and all the tools, platforms or technologies it comprises (blogs, wikis, podcasts, social networks, etc.) are being assumed in a natural and flexible way by all sorts of users. Platforms such as Youtube, Wikipedia, Facebook, etc., give us an idea of this change and podcasting is part of this new way of understanding the Web. The aim of this paper is to show, through an actionresearch methodology in the classroom, the podcasting´s effectiveness on instrumental music performance in secondary education students. The findings of this study provide information about the performance improvements among students who underwent the training with video podcasts.
