El largo camino hacia el disfrute de los Derechos Humanos de las Mujeres con Diversidad Funcional Física : un análisis desde la Grounded Theory

Abstract

La comunicación tiene como objetivos conocer y visibilizar las aportaciones que hacen al desarrollo de los derechos humanos las mujeres con diversidad funcional física, que participan activamente en organizaciones sociales; explicar qué significa la ciudadanía activa; identificar el valor añadido que supone la incorporación de las mujeres a la participación política y social, así como hacer visibles los obstáculos y limitaciones más relevantes que se encuentran para el desarrollo de sus derechos. Hemos estudiado a las mujeres con diversidad funcional física como sujetos proactivos que promueven y generan derechos de ciudadanía en sus entornos más inmediatos. Hemos introducido como eje de análisis la interseccionalidad, escogiendo las discriminaciones por razón de género y por discapacidad, además de otras, como los ejes principales para ir analizando el proceso participativo y de incidencia en los derechos de ciudadanía. La metodología elegida está basada en la hermenéutica interpretativa desde la construcción de la Grounded Theory (Teoría Fundamentada), siguiendo el paradigma de la codificación (Strauss y Corbin, 2010). Hemos realizado análisis del discurso de 17 mujeres con diversidad funcional a las que hemos hecho entrevistas en profundidad. Todas participan en diferentes tipos de entidades sociales. Las conclusiones giran en torno a visibilizar las aportaciones que el activismo y la participación social de estas mujeres proporcionan al desarrollo de la ciudadanía.

This thesis has the objectives of knowing and making visible the contribution that women with phisical functional diversity are actively participating in social organizations that add to the human rights development; explaining the meaning of active citizenship; identifying the added value of incorporating women to the political and social participation, as well as to make visible the most relevant obstacles and limitations that they find for the development of their rights. We have studied women with functional diversity as active subjects, that endevours to promote and generate rights of citizenship in their enviroments. We have introduced as the core analysis the intersectionality. We chose the discriminations by gender, disability and others as the main concept to analyze the participative process, and its influence on the human rights. The chosen methodology is based on the interpretative hermeneutic from the construction of the Grounded Theory, following the paradigm of the codification (Strauss and Corbin 2010). We have carried out an analisys of the dialog from 18 women that have functional diversity, who we have interviewed in depth. All of them participate in diverse social organizations. The conclusions deal with making visible the inputs that the activism of these women provide to the development of the citizenship.
