dc.description.abstractA new, improved, method for calculating the reference of a shunt active filter is presented. This method lays on a filter, which is able to extract the main component of a vector signal. This filter acts as a Phase-Locked Loop, capturing a particular frequency. The output of this filter is in phase with the frequency isolated, and has its amplitude. Simulation and experimental results confirms the validity of the proposed algorithm.es
