El testimonio, datado en el siglo XVIII, permite entender que para el pensamiento religioso maya colonial los sueños son parte del proceso de adquisición de conocimiento y autoridad.The paper discusses the relationships between dreams and power, based on the philological analysis of a fragment of “An Incantation”, a chapter from the Book of Chilam Balam of Chumayel.
