Para ello, hemos tomado como base metodológica principal el estudio sobre el espacio de Gastón Bachelard, Poética del espacio, estableciendo una conexión entre la interacción de los personajes con el espacio y la construcción de la casa. Demostraremos la relación existente entre el cambio de etapa vital (infancia, adolescencia y madurez), la preservación de la memoria y la mutación del espacio. Los resultados serían aplicables a otras obras de la autoraIn this article, I have analysed the diverse spaces presented in the titles: Paraíso inhabitado and Demonios familiares by Ana María Matute. To this purpose, I have applied as main methodological basis the research on the space published by Gaston Bachelard, Poetics of space, stablishing a connection between the character’s interaction with the space and the house construction. I will demonstrate the existing relationship between the entry into a new stage of life (childhood, adolescence and maturity), the preservation of the memory and the transformation of the space.
