Search for two-proton radioactivity of Mg-19 in a tracking experiment. En International Conference on Proton Emitting Nuclei and Related Topics (93-98), Lisbon, (Portugal): American Institute of Physics.978-0-7354-0475-50094-243X (impreso)1551-7616 (electrónico)https://hdl.handle.net/11441/100988The two-proton radioactivity of the previously unknown 19Mg ground-state is observed by tracking the decay products in-flight. The trajectories of the 2p-decay products, 17Ne+p+p, have been measured by using tracking micro-strip detectors which allowed to reconstruct the 2pdecay vertices and fragment correlations. The half-life of 19Mg deduced from the measured vertex distribution is 4.0(15) ps in the system of 19Mg. The Q-value of the 2p-decay of the 19Mg groundstate inferred from the measured p–p–17Ne correlations is 0.75(5) MeV.application/pdf8 p.engAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internacionalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/RadioactivityMeasured direct two-proton decay of 19Mg [from 24Mg fragmentation and subsequent 20Mg neutron knock-out]Measured Q2p, T1/2Three-body model calculationsSearch for two-proton radioactivity of Mg-19 in a tracking experimentinfo:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObjectinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttps://doi.org/10.1063/1.2827290
