Con el objetivo de establecer medidas para paliar estos efectos adversos se procede a realizar un estudio hidrológico-hidráulico, el cual proporciona la información suficiente para conocer el alcance de las inundaciones a corto y largo plazo. Este estudio permitirá proponer diversos métodos de actuación que intenten menoscabar los daños y que sean compatibles con la dinámica fluvial. Esto no será fácil de alcanzar ya que existen presiones humanas que junto con la topografía dificultan en gran medida solucionar el problema existente.The Industrial Estate “El Cañuelo”, located in the municipality of Santaella, suffers frequent flooding as a result of the overflow of the Arroyo del Salado, which runs through an area relatively close to it. In order to establish measures to alleviate these adverse effects, a hydrological-hydraulic study is being carried out, which provides enough information to determine the extent of the flooding in the short and long term.
