Parte de la consideración del contrato a tiempo parcial como una modalidad contractual independiente y diferente del contrato a tiempo completo. Fija determinados aspectos de esta modalidad contractual y delimita algunas de las problemáticas que surgen en ella. Señala al trabajo a tiempo parcial como un empleo flexible y estable dentro del debate teórico y aborda cuestiones relacionadas con él. Precisa algunos aspectos del contrato a tiempo parcial como medida frente al desempleo, y cuestiona si el reparto del trabajo mediante esta modalidad contractual es una solución frente al desempleo o supone la aparición del empleo precario. Y, por último, analiza la protección social y la posible discriminación de los trabajadores a tiempo parcial.This study reflects on the part-time work, stopping in its evolution and normative regulation. Part of the consideration of the part-time contract as an independent contractual modality and different from the full-time contract. Fixes certain aspects of this contractual modality and delimits some of the problems that arise on it. It points to part-time work as a flexible and stable job within the theoretical debate and addresses issues related to it. It specifies some aspects of the part-time contract as a measure against unemployment, and questions whether the distribution of work through this contractual modality is a solution to unemployment or implies the appearance of precarious employment.
