A tal fin, desde el trasfondo de la teoría de los sistemas, en la concepción desarrollada por Niklas Luhmann, en el presente estudio se trata de delimitar el objeto y la función de la historia de la literatura y dar una respuesta al controvertido tema del cambio literario.Taking into account all the inherent difficulties in literary historiography, the diachronic study of literature should avoid substantialist or immanentist positions and instead should situate the literary context within a communicative one.
