Este nuevo enfoque del rol sexual masculino constituiría un integrante importante de su naturaleza mientras que a nivel social constituiría una fuerza transformadora donde lo femenino comienza a tener un poder renovado poniendo en crisis un patriarcado enquistado. En este artículo veremos cómo en el arte de los hombres artistas la unión de los opuestos se condensaría en la unidad presentándose como un ser bisexuado y totalizador que nos revela un hombre nuevo, capaz de manifestar su lado femenino como alternativa crítica que rompe con las convenciones sociales, enlazando con nuestro pasado evolutivo, pero también con nuestro futuro.The ambiguity of traditional sexual roles would have burst into the art of the beginning of the twentieth century, passing it down to our days through changed and confusing roles that are interpreted numerous times by creative men capable of interpreting their female counterpart through the symbols of the unconscious.
